BACKGROUND AND TRAINING

Aleisha Chaffin is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Alabama. She graduated
magna cum laude from the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a Bachelor of Arts in
Psychology. During her time at UAH she was a member of Psi Chi, Psychology Honor Society,
Lambda Pi Eta, Communication Arts Honor Society, and Delta Epsilon Iota, Academic Honor
Society. Aleisha earned her Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Alabama
A&;M University where she was a member of Alpha Epsilon Lambda, National Honor Society of Graduate Students.

 

SERVICES

Aleisha’s clinical experience has been in numerous different settings and with people of all ages and diversities. She has provided counseling services in a hospital, community mental health center, intensive outpatient program, the school system, and an in-home program. Aleisha has extensive experience with children and adolescents, as well as with adult issues. Additionally, she has worked with clients for behavioral modification, adjustment issues, parenting skills, and many other life problems. Aleisha uses a strength based approach in therapy and wants to help clients through life’s difficulties in a positive way.
